"You Hold Me" With all of the wonder of a star filled sky And all the amazement of the tides reaching the shore You hold me With all of the mystery of an uncharted sea And all of the tenderness found in a child's eyes You hold me With all the little things you do And the way you always know just what to say You hold me With the excitement I feel when I hear your voice And the way my heart beats faster when you say you love me You hold me With the warmth of a fire that burns deep within And the glow I see on your face You hold me With the look of forever I see in your green eyes And the feel of your hand's silken touch You hold me You know that every second without you is an eternity So come lie hear beside me for the rest of my life And hold me |

"You know that every second without you is an eternity So come lie here beside me for the rest of my life and hold me." These lines gripped me and instantly I thought about Mina and I remember that I just told her today that I needed to spend about a week with her so I wouldn't miss her so much when she's gone...but alas I think I would miss her more when she's away...James |

WOW....this leaves me simply breathless. Jeffery, you've written so many poems that I like, but I'm going to have to rank this up amoung my favorites. I didn't see your post about leaving, but I'm glad you're still hanging around. I get here so seldom any more I truly miss so much.
