Ok, forgive me....This is a recent repost, I know.
But right after I posted it we moved on to Open #10!
I know, I know...I'm being selfish! So kick me   hehehe

Expressions and impressions
on this screen your words of rhyme
Thoughts in the brightest of inks
printed permanently in my mind

Expressions and impressions
on this soundtrack you record
Tones of laughter and joy
ring in my ear with sweet accord

Expressions and impressions
on this loom you weave in gold
Strength and comforts of warmth
interlaced through out my soul

Expressions and impressions
on this paper you gently sketched
Colors of a rainbow full
in my eyes forever etched

Expressions and impressions
on this canvas you’ve brushed your art
Visions of such beauty and love
forever painted upon my heart

Irie~
I'm so pleased you brought this one forward -

'Expressions and impressions
on this loom you weave in gold
Strength and comforts of warmth
interlaced through out my soul'

Just a beautiful expression of what poetry
is all about ... weaving the words.
A beautiful tapestry for all the world to see.

'Expressions and impressions
on this canvas you’ve brushed your art
Visions of such beauty and love
forever painted upon my heart'

Such an artistic view of the effects our poetry has on others.
Thank you for this stirring post.

Thank you so much Marge.....your comments mean a lot.
I don't post often, and when I do I try and make it worth while.
Again, many thanks to you.
I'm glad you enjoyed.....

this is EXCELLENT!
Im really glad you brought this over in here Sheri...
a lot of great poems get lost in the change over to forums and even day to day with so many poets here posting now...
Im glad to have not missed this...
your repetion of the title lines is perfect..
makes the poem
as does the imagery and message of the poem
great read ...great writing
you leave your own poetic impression...
take care

Irie,

Thanks for the repost!!  I missed this one somehow.  Wow, what wonderful thoughts and feelings you have shared with us.  I feel the same way about the poetry I read here also.  Just cannot seem to get enough of it at times.  It always leaves an impression on me.  Great writing.
