Listening to every heart

Turn Out the Lights

it will be, when it's time
you'll know the sound
it will be the whisper
soft in your ear

it will be in the
soft caress
that promises to fulfill
your request

with deepest sighs
long ago lullabies
of far-away
symphonies

there I'll begin
to stroke your heart
and those strings
within shall flutter

till in crescendo deafening
and muscles quivering
you'll sing back
to me

that's when I shall
turn out the lights
so you may replay
the music of the night

Do I really have to tell you why I like this one my friend?

Wow. . . I'm amazed that I still have my eyes after reading this one. . .

Wonderful. . .

"there I'll begin

too many great lines and feelings in this to really pick just one, being in a ""softer"" mood today, i had to touch upon this as being my favorite feeling....

YOU - should have written the lyrics for Phantom ~G~ - Such Music of the Night as I imagine with your beautiful words - far exceeds any from Webber's lyricist

Gemini, thank you!

Mr. Yeats...I have to admit that I secretly play my CD's of the opera in my car, with volume up loud enough to feel the bass in my bones...one of my favorites...

Sven...you didn't miss it...
