green blades ... to these times of ricepaper souls leaf tenders torn along the folds a frayed frontis and foxed-page scripts binding menders worn among the old oh, walt long told of whitman's voice read across the miles of fresh-cut space as "leaves of grass" sits quietly still its greenest smile blades across my face M.A. Miller 10.03.00 My calling before me, let quill be my offering; For to be called poet, no greater gift to receive.
