Doubt

Doubt if you will the stars
Say they shine not over you
Illuminating washing away fears
Tell me you see them not
And I will believe you

Doubt Heaven and it’s entire mystic
Speak of angels drowned in sorrow
Flowers of fragrance grow never
Rainbows are merely black and white
And I shall hush to listen

Doubt time moves without remorse
Whisper to me there is no future
That yesterday we did not love
Today you think not of me
And I will understand

Condemn yourself and all to hell
In the pit of gloom I go too
For this my friend, never doubt
Where you are is where I’ll be
And I am always here for you

Marina, this style seems a little different for you. You've done a amazing job here.
Doubt all but the fact that you will be there to... Very powerful message.
Bravo...

Speaking from your heart and showing the pain and agony of sticking with a love that you share with one even when they cannot turn to you or betray the feelings that are there.  This really speaks out and I am hoping that I didn't misread it but I saw a love willing to forgive if only given the chance to shine again.  Excellent read and if I misread it them please feel free to let me know....I would like to know that I understand it my friend.

I am soooo impressed with this poem and can only add that I ditto what KITT has expressed as well the 2 verses she quoted are the ones that clawed thru my thoughts in this read

Bottom line is...the expression is exquisite

Just searching a little.

Saw your name and liked it.  Wanted to see what your writing was like.  I really liked this poem, it says a lot.

Hope to see more from you, you are obviously a woman in love.  I used to know what that was like.

passion is life. . .
