In the winds of Cherokee song

Rose

Petals spred their wings
upon the morning dew kiss
touching the heavens

~~~~~*~~~~~
Butterfly
Pastel wings shed tear
quenching my thirst for a love
as she flutters by
~~~~~*~~~~~

Squirrel

Flushing , prancing, dance
furry tail high in the air
nuts and corn gathered

I really like the rose haiku..
The others were great...but the rose was my favourite.
Haiku is a beautifuly form of poetry, that I am getting to like more each time I see some of the quality that is shown here.
See you around,
Linda Munday.

Mark,

how do you do 5-7-5
and yet keep it so alive
I enjoyed butterfly best
in search of love, it rose to crest.

Have to find that challenge!
