did you want bacon for breakfast?
i asked and you started telling me how
you didn't feel well because
you had to pass her house yesterday
and you didn't understand
why now that she isn't there anymore
that it still has such a sad effect on you...
but i know why
you just never admitted how much
you cared for her
claimed "only friends" with every inch
of your life
and mine
and now that miss walks too
prissy for her feet to actually touch the earth
has left because she cared so much for you and she felt like [maybe]
her presence
was why our marriage was going
down the tubes
and she has gone off and become a stewardess
but wait...if she is really gone....who then
do you talk to on the phone late at night?
never mind, i digress...where was i...oh yes...she has gone off...
oh and would you do me a favor...if you are ever on a plane
and you see a bleached blonde stewardess who acts
too stuck-up for her own good and whose voice
is so sweet it could attract flies...and does so...
reach your foot out in the isle
and trip her...
just for me...
I know that would make me smile...
oh yes...i digress again...
did you say if you wanted me to cook the bacon
after all?

I hate her, too.  I've been there.  The problem isn't her though is it.  If it were me?  "Here's your bacon, sweetheart..oh and by the way..I've found myself a pilot.  by bye "......beth

"miss walks too prissy for her feet to actually touch the earth" How I love this description! And it would be a welcome change for my feet to trip up someone besides me. *G* Great job!

"jinxed" your style is very familiar to me...
I like the sarcasim and bitterness in this
witty piece ...
let him cook his own bacon ...
find someone who'll cook you breakfast in bed
yep...I like your style *smile*
thanks for the mirror reply to my poem ...
oh--welcome to passions
take care

the poem's great, but i still say the pen name ain't you.... not even close... and obviously, i recognized you from your first post .... it's hard not to recognize your excellent style of writing and the honed voice of a special poet

and if anybody's got heart, it's you... so, i say toss this name away

Well, I'm the only dummy who does not know who you are...but no matter, not only will I trip her, but I'll tell one of my kids to kick her in the shin...heh heh...good for you, like your spirit, under any name!
