Dreaming Déjà Vu

it came first at eighteen
and I still think of that dream
it was when I first saw you
someday, I thought, déjà vu

at twenty-eight I dreamed again
and wondered at the where or when
or even if there would be a then
someday, I hoped, déjà vu

then thirty-eight snuck up on me
and still I failed to see
but I kept on at what I do
hoping to dream of déjà vu

now at forty-eight I realize
the dream shall stay behind my eyes
for in the dream at least you come to me
and with you, I'll déjà vu

Karilea, don't give up hope kid, there's always a chance than when you least expect it, the one will fall in your lap. I love this Kari, it's as beautiful as your soul. Still just in case he doesn't suddenly appear, keep your eyes peeled, for any likely looking prospects. If nothing else you could enjoy checking them out,
Now if I see any that I think might suit, I'll send them over shall I?
Take care

Ahhhh Karilea, Great thoughts, wonderful poem.  And now I understand why we seem to be on the same wavelength....it's the age thang......I could swear I'm only 18, it's only the husband and kids who keep reminding me to put a 4 where the 1 is...... Love this.  Bonnie
