I thought I would repost this considering I posted it in Open #9 the night it was closed.

Early Morning Light

Hues of blue and brown
Eddy within my mind
Eyes focus, seeing nothing
Must of been a dream
Two heavenly bodies
And endless dance
Song of one heart
Thoughts of nothing
Imagining everything
Born of a single mind
Lost in the passion
Strength in the love
In the early morning light

I'm very pleased with the re-post or I would have never seen it...so much to see and read. You created a fantastic poem here. Sad message, I can relate, but great form.

I can relate to your poem. I like the early morning lights. You drew a picture of beauty.
Wonderful work

Tears of Grace- This poem can be taken as either a sad or happy one.  As for me, for the first two or three years this was the sourse of my depression.  It was not a pretty site.  One day it all changed.  This poem now describes the hope I feel in the early morning light.  I am glad you like it.  I will try to get more up soon.

Alan Hatcher- I am glad that you can see the beauty in it.  Heaven only knows that I can never see it in my own poetry.  But then again there is something about me being my own worst critic...

This is lovely verse White Wolf.

I see you posted this at 3 am, on a Sunday.
There aren't many people here at that time.
This is a very fast paced forum. You need to take time and reply to others as well. The more you get yourself out there, you'll find over time they start looking for your poetry as well.
So please be patient.

Please understand that we're trying to get to what we can. I understand it's not easy to post something and not get many replies to it. We do try to make everyone feel welcome here. So keep replying and reading others.

*taking my Moderator hat off*

White Wolf, I just read some of your replies in the Alley and when I got to Open Forum, I saw your name and thought I'd read and reply!

Imagine my chagrin to see that you were upset with me! I really would have replied sooner had I known you would be so upset. Sunday is my one day of rest so I don't get to be online as much. I promise to read your poems from now on. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I do feel ashamed.

This is very beautiful dreamlike state that you've created with your ease at putting words together to show a very pretty picture of what "The Early Morning light" is for you!!!  Very nice!!! Hope to see more....

Take Care,

Honestly WW, I did not see it, but then I am notorious for my oblivion...but I do understand...and sigh of sighs...I DO reply...ALOT...and I feel bad, because I do like this---especially:

"thoughts of nothing
imagining everything
born of a single mind..."

In fact, I think I love that.

First off Let me explain some things.  One I am not mad angry or anything of the sort.  My reply was just a failed attempt to put some humor in this post.  At the time I didn't know how to get those neat little graphics in there to lighten the post.  I know how to know.     I was just using that post to throw it back to the top since I did post it late at night(when most of us should be sleeping).  I honestly meant no disrespect by that post.  I am fairly patient, but haven't had too much time to post replies to others.  I just didn't want to say that I was moving this back to the top.  I have alot to work on as far as humor on the internet.  Please be patient with me.

Justbleu- Thank you much.

serenity- Once again I meant no disrespect.  I am glad you like/love that part.  It just struck me so I put it in there.  Thank you for your honest and you do, do a good job of replying to others, atleast from what I have seen.

White Wolf,

Welcome to Passions first of all!!  Thanks for the repost on this one.  It is very good writing.  I just love the color imagery here.

Looking forward to more of your work . . .
