what is this ache
that resides somewhere
unpinpointable
between the inside and the out?
it weaves in
it pops out and
it has its reasons
(I have been told)
it has no medical cure
haven't found a pill yet that numbs
the brain and the heart and
sometimes I wish I was a drinker
and for at least a night
I could leave it all
behind and
how do you lose your mind?
I sometimes wonder how bad
it must be if i am not there yet and
do you ever envy those
with the distant echo
of a smile that found
the shimmering lights and
the way
to leave
the pain?

It's easy .... fall in love with one you can't touch "YET" .... and then go nuts trying to feel the softness amongst the stars and heavens.....nothing to it....LOL...or just become a cowboy and fall on your head a few times. Very wonderful write from you seriously and isn't it puzzling the way the mind reacts to certain things in our life?

drinking doesn't work... just to let you know... but it can help you lose it faster if that's your intention

well, drinking does too work...temporarily...but then it's all there again, and ouch does the brain complain!!!

I agree with Mark. Love is always a good place to lose your mind. You find yourself doing things that you would not otherwise do, and you keep a foot in your mouth and you often think that you have lost your mind for getting involved.

I suppose you could try the alternative way and neve respond to loves call and then feel the wrath of regret for missing sweet opportunities...some times I find that there is no way I can resist loves call enen if it is only calling to me...James

thank you all...and yep mark I know just what you mean...i just wish it was love that cause this ache, that is bittersweet...this is just bitter...sigh.....am going to fix it soon...maybe tomorrow...keep your fingers crossed for me.....hugs to all
