In Your Poetic Mind

    I speak to your eyes,
    soften my approach,
    you gaze to my
    mind thoughts, a velvet voice
    reaches your senses,
    penetrates your soul,
    woven in a tapestry
    of elegant ache,
    remembrance, like a snowflake
    melting against skin slowly,
    my heart will touch you
    in the stormy season &
    when dusk slides to dawn
    the shadows of love will
    fall gently across two lovers,
    ecstasy in the realms
    of light and darkness
take me there into your souls
    depth, whispering softly,
    igniting the flame

    again

Elegant work indeed...

my heart will touch you
    in the stormy season &
    when dusk slides to dawn
    the shadows of love will
    fall gently across two lovers,

I really like these lines, Greeneyes.

"He looked across the
silky surface of the Severn...
it was a famously difficult
river with fierce tides..."

This is very lovely, and has the theme of my heart these days, re-united love. Beautiful. Thanks for writing this.

Hey GE - this is a terrific return - I sincerely hope it means in reality all it implies - no one deserves it more
One of your very best - and that's saying a lot!

hello green eyes ..its me brown eyes *smile*
and my eyes enjoyed this sensual, intense poem greatly ...
loved the way it drew the reader in and made them hold their breath till reaching the
satisfying end ...
at least thats what this reader did ...
loved the title and the premise behind it ..
Im always writing about my now infamous ache
but I dont think it can be called elegant LOL
wonderful read...adding it to my library
take care
