Listening to every heart

                                      Whispers

Listen to the softness of a whisper ~
               cushioned by your lips,
               close to my ear.

               Ecstacy fills my heart,
rising it high on my mind,
               blanketing all other thoughts.

Trees bending slightly under the push
from the breath of a pagen god of long ago...
               it too whispers to me...
               but not the same words.

For does a wisp of breeze
               have a meaning for I?

The faded smell of lost perfume and roses
               still lingers silently.

The whisper is still there, as are memories
you’ve given me. The wonderment of you
never ceases, can’t die, always lives.

Whisper once more words that will not stay,
               but silently be remembered
               like a pagan god’s.

               After that,
               my love,
               Goodnight.

Karilea, Critical Analysis, I really can't bear to go there, I know I'm a coward. It's the first word that puts me off, you know Critical, no I can't do it. I think that each poem has it's merits, and I know we're all learning and the best way is from our mistakes. But still, what right has anyone to say this is wrong and this is right. So unless I grow a tougher skin, and I can't see that happening, Critical Analysis will have to do with out me. (but if you ever do post a poem there Kari let me know, I won't give it any criticism, and I sure as hell can't analyse, but I can come and wave a flag)
Take care

Vandana, thank you...whispers just seem to linger longer, don't you agree?...

Karilea
If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, then speak loudly and be bound.
