Bluebird Messenger

I awoke this morning and walked out to sit on my deck
To my surprise I was greeted by the melodies of a bluebird
It seems that she had just arrived from her long nights trek
She then whispered the most beautiful words I have ever heard

She shared the things she saw in the middle of twilight's night
She sweetly spoke of the starlight kisses upon her weary wings
And how Luna breathed new life into her on this...her salvation's flight
As she flew rehearsing the song from you that she so merrily sings

She sung first in verse of you...using "our" strength to endure
She chirped out the lines of your plea...songs of taking care of me for you
She whistled the phrases of powers found in the gifts you hold so pure
And added that in your eyes of jade she saw the luminous of now living anew

Just as I thought that I had seen it all on this wonderous new morn
Her wings turned to gold and her ruffled breast began to swell and rise
Through her beak came the voice of an angel telling of a gifted butterfly born
One of yesterday that flies among the clouds with visions in her luna eyes

Perched on my finger she danced about with a joyous little wink
Deep in thought I searched for what lie within her fragile but determined heart
From this day she said...give it your all with eyes wide open...do not blink
As today your love and you follow a path...to where you will never again part.

*bowing before king of graphics*
my my my.. seems the words
of a "little bird" ...sang to your muse me sweet ..
lovely endearing message and promise of strength here MC ...
the true gift of love and poetry is when it allows us to find our own strength
and see our own light thru the eyes of one who loves us ..
you shine divine my empowered poetic prince
you and that muse of yours ...
and listen ...
did you hear that???
I think I just heard a little bird say
Cluck cluck
love ya baby ...muchly ...

There are places inside our souls -
that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.

This is so wonderful, it's so amazing. The king of graphics, I would say a master. You are a magician, who weaves spells of enchantment. You know I love your work, it's not just great writing, it's not just fantastic graphics. It's something else, and you have it in spades.
It's beautiful

JM- Thank you so much.  And yeah I found my muse hiding inside of me of all places.    Imagine that.

Victoria-Thank you much.

Karilea-Thank you so much and the graphics are all over the net if you look in the right places.

Marsha-May I keep you around just to make me smile and to feed my poet ego?  Thank you dearly for all you kind remarks always.  You are one that I will always welcome and also read as I find your works just as appealing to me.  But seriousy, a master AND a magician?  WOW...you sure know how to make a poet feel good.

Do you know the blue bird of happiness?
It spreads its wings so you can fly
and it sings to give your heart the music
to write your poem across the sky.

Beautiful poem, Mark.

Martie-I had to get my wings somewhereLOL  Thank you my sweet friend.

PdV-Thank you so much and does that mean that you got a warm feeling inside?

Marina-I thank you my friend.  I don't know about Perfect but I am glad that you liked the birds. Hope you liked the words as well.

serenity-I thank you my dear friend and I just may have to carry you around in my shirt pocket to keep me smiling   Glad to see you studying but could you wear a little more please.  It is so distracting.

snowpants-Sure you could.  It is not hard at all.  Hey if an "OLD" cowboy could learn it then you surely could.

Balladeer-It's either the birds in the morning or the bats at night....which would ou chose??LOL  Thank you kind sir.

Rosebud1229- YES please go back and read the words....that is the poem actually buried in there somewhere.LOL....sorry if I went overboard.

Sunny1-Do "chicks" count as birds?  If so that would be a definite YES. Thank you so much and I am glad you found the words.

Mark just had to come back to this one, it's so delightful, delicious, and I love it. I only wish I could pin the 'puter to the staff room wall so that everyone could be as captivated as I am by this. Still I'll tell them all to log on and look at it for themselves. It will certainly bring a smile to their very long faces, and they could do with cheering up.
Thanks for this beauty, it'll stay with me for the whole weekend.

Mark, what can I say? Goodness, you have left me speechless on that one. I shake my head to how you find the words to say all that. You are so blessed with a vision so very few have, or should I say, so blessed to be able to find the words that I know are so hard to find. I am always so caught up in things and so overwhelmed by a lot and always I search for the words, and can't find them. You have a wonderful talent, My Friend, and are so lucky to have the eyes and heart to be so connected to many things. Beautiful poem!
