I was welcomed, arms wide- with bright, cheeky faces
My pen kissed the parchment, it flowed its own will.
I absorbed all your words, they seeped deeply inside,
Savored their taste as they poured from your quills.

The sharing of voices, of tickles from jokes
Bringing much laughter on days else seemed dark.
I've often squirmed silly at poems full of tease,
Ringing giggles and grins, to my eyes given spark.

On the serious side- Through these halls many rooms
Where we wept out our fears, I've read words not out spoken
Of love beyond grasp, slipped through tightly-closed palms
leaving many bereft, mending hearts newly broken.

This glorious place made by each, making whole
from your insightful minds of all models and size.
Where we can express through colorful muse--
I feel I've come home and will treasure this prize.
