sunny day field
lie down
in wind blown grass
cool blades caress my skin
turn my face
into the breeze
into a smile
as I watch the clouds
white Rorschach shapes
change me
transform my sea of blue
I'm Columbus
looking for the edge of my world

Thank you, Sunshine, I think all of us are different people inside. Sometimes we should all play the "schizophrenic" and let our hidden faces show.  )

I love the expression "looking for the edge of my world."  I've always loved to watch the clouds roll by but I've never looked at it in this perspective before.  I like it!

Take me as I am or watch me as I go

Thank you Doreen  )

Tara,
Watching the clouds is only the beginning for me; rising above them to greet the endless blue is the daydream. Wanna join me?  )

Tears of Grace,
"we" thank you for complimenting "our" poem. (sorry, couldn't resist!  ))

dg,
hugs back at ya! Thanks for the kind words.

Paula,
"inkblots" I LOVE IT! it fits the tone of the poem so well. Thank you; come soar with me!
