Always be alert From light to shadow to light A breath of slight crossed the yard. Silence stalking in the night Silhouetted the facade. Tracing abnormalities Magnifying darker dark. In and out reality Like the hover of a lark. Stealth and subtlety advanced Prudent to the Nth degree Moving in a seance dance Powered by the oversee. Shivered in a form of quake Seconds from the pounce degauss Struck like the head of a snake Full upon a heedless mouse. Fear is not the question here It's just alertness my dear. |

I'm sorry to disagree, but it's FEAR!!!! I jump pretty high at the sight of a mouse, which has been witnessed on many occasions. Snakes are worse Whatever you write sounds great. But I'll still jump Liz |
