I'm "Leaving" - Haikus 5-7-5

~ * ~

Summer foliage
Stripped away by autumn winds
Leaving me naked

~ * ~

Sap runs down my spine
Running from winter's cold wrath
Time to shed my coat

~ * ~

Autumn winds threaten
Mighty tree shivers and quakes
Lost my summer clothes

~*~

LOL … Sorry for the play on words, but I couldn't resist!  I'm not going anywhere!!!

.

Peeking around tree,
Hoping for a glimpse of Kit
As she feels the chill.

Woo Hoo, she looks hot,
Now that she is in the buff.
I feel like a sap.

But I can't help it!
Kit is so darn alluring,
Frolicking naked.

Kit's haiku is great,
While mine is just frivolous,
Just like me at times.

I am leaving too
But not before I branch out
In a motley hue

Tri-ku

Sap runs down your spine
so you say it to be true
but was it not warm

A little hint of jest
as you bare your all to us
what about the nest

little bird did seek
a leaf but none to be found
so he used your spine

Sorry Kit, it just came out.LOL
Don't worry, LJA needed an excuse to kiss
your spine anyway....EEEWWWWWWWW

ya know how pirates are

ROFL!! Well, you certainly got my
   attention with that title.      you'd
better not be going anywhere...love your
poetry, and love these little ditties.

Kit~
'Leaving' ?????
I just knew it wasn't true !
There's too much poet in you !
To up and leave the show ?
There's NO WAY you would go !

So as it is ....
You leaf me no choice !
But to say this with a smile -
After all the trees stand nekkid
And snow is on the ground
I'm happy to know
You'll still be around !

Love you, you wonderful poet !
