Poetic Palette

~Marge Tindal~

I see the true colors
in the words that you share.
Shaded hues of Sonnets
like a rainbow arching there.

Soft, soft shades of Alliteration red
turning to passionate prose in purple
when it touches blue Ballad ledges.
Blending into Haiku green
when yellow captures it's Villanelle edges.

What rapturous colors
your poetic promise does proclaim.
I see it painted in the sky
when sunshine touches
the clearing of the rain.

Each time that I behold
the rainbow's hue,
I see a poetic palette
that paints memories of you.

Sometimes the arch is doubled
and that gives my heart great pleasure.
It stands as an a testament to God's love,
and at the end ... your friendship,
a treasure in double-measure.

No doubting that you are indeed an artist Marge, and you never fail to paint the most exquisite pictures.

Marge a beautiful colourful rainbow, your work is exquistite always. I love this, as I love all your work. Rainbows always have been my favourite sign, and you painted it clear with the colours and the words.

Alri-i-i-ight, who gave Marge the paint brush?!  I thought we all had a secret agreement about this?  Now there'll be grafitti all over the place!  What's that?  But, it's beautiful?  That doesn't matter!  What really matters is that she not write prettier than us.  Right?

Marge - Please do not use colors as they tend to mess up our monochrome monitors.  Other than that - I love your poem.

Marge
The artiste's pallette will never run dry
as long as you have words to paint in passions sky.
