Fighting with Faith
Amy M. Kennedy

I wonder does my pillow know my heart
It should with all my tears
It was there when this love first got its start
And is the keeper of all my fears

Darling I am fighting hard as I can
As hard as I know how
Don't you see my outstreched hand
Still, can't help how I'm feeling now

They just don't understand this love we share
I don't think they ever will
They don't understand how much we truly care
Or believe our feelings are real

My heart cries out in pain
I feel I've hurt you so
I want to hold you in the pouring rain
And never let you go

I promised I wouldn't stop trying
And my promises...I do keep
But I can't seem to stop crying
My love for you runs so deep

I keep holding onto faith
It gets me through the dark
And I think to that first moment
When we first had our magic spark

God, I want to hold you
And never let you go
And I just think its time
We should let the world know

We are not giving up
No hell we are going to give it our all
Giving up is the only way
We'll be failures and take the fall

Place your hand into my mine
Look deep into my eyes
And together we will fly
Straight into heaven's skies

Hold on to your faith. Having none is bleak. I like this.

Putting forth the true effort will always give the results needed.  Not always the answers you seek but at least there will be no more questions.  Wonderful read from you as always.  Did I say how glad I am to see you back with us?

Beautiful, just beautiful.  I hate when people tell you what is real and what isnt, if you feel it in you heart, why cant it be real.  Great read.
