In Passion's Care

Sounds of silence broken by
The reign of heaven's need.
Tears tap- tap, awakening
The restful soul to feed

Upon the words in passion's care,
Those sent to me in dreams.
To blanket me in warmth of you,
Till next the sunshine beams.

A kiss that travels, miles to me
To gently brush a cheek,
A smile or softened laugh I feel
To brighten a morning, bleek.

Reflecting thoughts of you, each morn,
Mind fill and pierce my soul.
Each meeting of a dream-loved sleep
Till you, my eyes behold.

Awaiting touch of rainbow's hues
As morning sun, does rise
To greet your song of color's bright,
A canvas in blue skies.

As breezes blow and share their kiss
They carry, whispers heard,
To tender touch the heart of me,
Till next I feel "love's" word.

And breezes blow and share their kiss

May the world share many kisses with you bright one.

Maureen your depth never ceases to amaze me.

Be well

Maureen - have you found that writing becomes easier and easier as you do more of it?  Your writing sure seems to reflect that theory.  This is a beautiful poem for its flow and its thoughts.  Sweetly done.

LngJhnAg...I have only been writing 2 years ..I have only been on the computer that long..and out of sadness (illness and death of my father and obviously the pending loss of my marriage, although I never expected this)...so when I discovered I could make my thoughts into poems rather then e-mails to myself...everything changed...and my poetry became my diary of life. Some days the flow comes easy like today's In Passion's Care (if inspired) and other times I revert back and  post one of my older ones here and to tell you the truth ..some of my first ones have more depth...just depends on my mood and my life and  believe me I am a cancer, a child of the moon and I phase in and out...I guess one could say with practice one improves...I am lucky though  my  flow and rhyme come naturally so all I ever work on is the content...or message of feelings
~~soft thanks...wish I could explain it better but I don't understand it myself and am taking advantage of the creativeness before  my "blue period" disappears and I lose the skill.

sometimes your responses make me go back and reread my own poems as I never remember what I write after doing so...isn't that strange...it takes several  readings before it stays in my mind....today I was feeling
some warmth of memories as the rain continued to dampen another day
