A little girl kneels by her cot
To God she did say,
Keep safe all those I love a lot.

A young lady stands at the altar
To God she did say,
Bless our marriage don’t let our love falter.

A mother holds her newborn son.
To God she did say,
Help him to grow as your own.

A grandmother rocks her grandchild.
To God she did say,
Protect him from this world that is so wild.

A family stood around her grave
To God they did say,
Thank you for all the love that she gave.

I loved the unfolding of this...and neatly done, too...a pause for thought, I thank you.

Mike, Jon, Serenity
Thanks for your kind words.
My mother-in-law always put
her family before herself.
She is greatly missed.
