When I was sixteen the man for me was one with size ten feet
The thought of a man with feet that big was really rather sweet
And being a modern Millie, a really with it chick
I naturally equated big feet with an even bigger… heart
And this man with a big heart would treat me like a star
We'd yellow cab it everywhere… he doesn't have a car

When I was eighteen men I desired would have a gorgeous  smile
He'd be sensitive and caring, and steal my heart with style
But when I saw the braces on the one who's song I'd sung
I changed my mind and hoped for a man who was just well… balanced
Then this balanced man of mine, would love me in the tub
The bubbles in my relationship… are when we're at the pub.

At twenty-one my heart changed, I sought a man who worked out
He would be confident, have big "pecs" and know what he's about
For this hulking man I would, inanely, want to dote on
Hoping to get close to his tensile, rounded… nails
His lovely nails would treat me right and never claw or scratch
And I awaken every morning to watch him… fondling his patch

Now much older, wiser, I don't appearances stress
I just want a man who can understand and accept my PMS
A man who'll travel with me, through sunshine or through reef
And if it not too much to ask a man with all his teeth.

I can't believe I missed this ROTFLMAOPRDML
What's more incredible - I can't believe so many others missed it as well
Kethry - I love your "Rhymes" and even more your sense of humor - This is fabulous

This is a great poem, I love it. Told you I'd find it hard to find the words to give this the praise it deserves. So I'll just say this really made me smile and go to bed with a grin.

Marsha, I love it when you reply in pink. And I love the way you keep topping yourself with superlatives.

Janet Marie, thanks for the giggle and the compliment, coming from you it's high praise indeed.

Martie, Hey I was serious   ...glad you saw the funny side of it.

Kethry - Terrific misdirection and recovery in this poem.  It's great the way you made everything work.  I especially like the structure.  You are too much, girl.
