She walked towards me and placed her hand upon my chest... she asked if I was alone tonight, she asked if I could buy her a drink, she asked if I like the club she asked if I like the song she asked if I wanted to dance... We struggled through the crowd of bleach blondes in black leather pants and baby tees... We tried to breath through the staunch smell of CK and DEP gel... I pulled her close... She asked me if I could pull her closer, she asked me if I could hold her tighter, she asked me if I could kiss her gently, she asked me if I could take her home tonight... I staggered into my dimly lit kitchen My wife was drinking coffee reading the morning paper I set my unused fishing gear on the floor and quickly fixed myself a cup... She asked me If I had a good night... Never be a carbon copy of anybody...make your own impressions. - ANON. |
