Sorry for posting accross forums, but I posted this one in Open #9 without realizing that that forum was being replaced. I thought Id put it out where the rest of the traffic is. Once again, sorry for cross posting. Tears come unbidden to these eyes My heart calls out and for you cries That I might touch you and hold you near The one that I call “Abrabear” and “Dear” The days that have come and past Your love I have held unto fast The days that are yet to be Will be hard for you and me Miles have come and stepped between Life can be so cruel and mean To pull the two of us so far apart After we stole one another’s heart In this cold and dark twilight time Ill wrap myself in your thought and rhyme And warm myself by your loves fire Dreaming of her, my greatest desire |

Thanks to both of you. The tears are twofold. One for the pain at being separated from the one I love, and out of joy for having someone special enough to make it so dang painful. Thanks again. Even in the darkest night, someone will be there holding a candle for you. |
