Summers come to an end up here in Canada and it makes me think of a place on Georgian Bay, a wonderful little escape I don't see often enough.
so here's a little repost to take you away.

Freedom Island

Do you ever dream,
of those far away scenes,
of places you've never been.
Well not far from you,
where the sky is so blue,
and the water so green.
Its not a dream,
So come with me,
to this inland Sea.
In the dark of the night
the sky is so bright
with the northern borealis
and the milkyway lights.
Up there is a place,
hidden from the race.
An Isle on the sea
and it waits for you and me
its not a dream,
an Island called Freedom.

So where do I book my trip at and may I reserve a spot for two.  No cabin please just a spot on the beach beneath the milkyway lights will do just fine.

Superb penning and YES, I often dream of such.

Well, the bus is waiting..... lets go poets.
Thats what we all need a poets retreat to stoke the imaginations and let the northern stars embed our senses with renewal.
