Coming Images

Candelabra starlight
       awaiting over leaden skies
              twinkling luminous in mine eyes
as I soar into your arms tonight

                                       love me

weaving moon-spun memories
       into each thoughtful prayer
bear me close within your soul
as our spirits come to share

                                hold me

spin me all your dreams of desire
warm me with your inner fires
confide in me your secrets held
while softly our lips shall meld

                                kiss me

Shall I be yours, shall you be mine
all in the periphery of twilight time

Hi Sunshine,
I do like your writings, you are very talented. This one I like, as it has been done so softly, at least in my eyes. Another romantic, so glad to see.

Sunshine, Oh what an honor to be the first to reply. Karilea this is excellant, fantastic, and super, if I could spell that word of Mappy Poppins it would be that too. I can say it I just can't spell it, I know it begins with Super and ends with cious.
Anyway it's as special as you, beautiful, take care

with a pinch of moondust
and a dash of starlight
she opens her heart
and shines in the night. . .

This is just wonderful my friend. . . it's about as delicate as the stars that shine with it. . .

Just amazing. . .

Tender touch with melded lips
As two become one in twilights night

Karilea....
Oh, but we do think alike, at the same time.....ESP must run in the family!
It is just that time of year, when the moon is so dominant in the sky.....a big harvest moon.....the kind that stirs man's emotions to a boiling point!!  Yes....I, too love this poem of yours......funny that two 'sun' people should write about the moon on the same day!!!      Love it!!!!!!!!!

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

Sunshine, I am elated to have found this treasure from the past.

The presentation is beautiful, the way you've weaved it seamlessly together but I gotta tell ya I just love the expression (mind you, those twinkling stars just made the read an even sweeter one)!

Mr. Yeats, even if my voice is only a whisper, it is nice to know that someone hears me...

denise, I, too, am glad you found this one...it is a favorite...and I do so enjoy sharing my favorite things...

and in answering this post, you just helped me pass the 7000 mark...

thank you!
