         “YOU AND ME AND HE”

Kiss our soft baby child, and then kiss me,
for my darling, I will always have you see…
That in your loving arms, I wanted to be all along,
       because in that very place,
             is where I belong…

We consummated this child, when we joined as one,
and out of love for each other, we named him Kenton…
A beauty he turned out to be, just like his mother,
       I know in my heart,
that I will never want another…

This son of ours, blonde with striking blue eyes,
reminds me of you, and all of your ways…
Kind, loving and tender, and so very gracious too,
       always wanted someone,
             to love like you…

Our son is also tender, and has many of your traits,
full of life and those piercing eyes, that he assimilates…
You both have captured my heart, now I know how,
it was when I saw the two of you,
             together just now…

Graceful like a delicate swan, you remind me of,
and I shook all over when we met, my ladylove…
I could not believe it, the luck that I had,
       when meeting you,
unknowing that I would be his Dad…

I know that within, your love for me is true,
as mine from deep inside, is always for you…
A beautiful darling son, you have given us,
I can say your love for me,
             has been so very unselfish…

And so I adore, the only two I have in my life,
that gives me happiness, and not any more strife…
I say from my being, directly to you and he,
I will love and treasure both of you,
             throughout eternity…

Bill

There is a very special love between a man and a woman when they have a child and you have captured this feeling and tenderly written the words.
