                       Endless questions,
             Mercilessly torturing my mind;
          Teasing and taunting my existence,
                                      the very essence of “me”.
                                              Search though I might
                                                             for the answers,
                                                                  I am lost to the
                                                                               endless
                                                                         speculation
                                                                       and analysis.
                                                                  Try though I do,
                                                                      to strive for
                                                                  the meaning
                                                                       behind
                                                         such thoughts,
                                                          I disappear
                                               into the depths
                                                of my query,
                                                surfacing
                                        only briefly
                                      to gaze at
                                          reality
                                   headlong.
                                   Only then,
                                do I realize
                                      that the
                             explanations
                                        I seek,
                              the answers
                                  that elude
                                        me so,
                                      Will not
                                   be found
                             in this reality.
                                    And yet,
                                   continue,
                                          I do.

                                       Ever
                                  exploring,
                              Always probing,
                            Forever searching,
                                 until the end
                                      of time.

Kit my dear friend of challenges.  You have never let me down yet and you didn't this time either.  I saw this in open 9 as you were testing it.LOL and was wondering if you were going to put it up.  This is so GREAT in content and format and I do so love the way you step up to the plate.  Don't feel bad because often times I feel lost as well.

WOW!!!!!  This looks GREAT and the words are so very true.............
"Only then, do I realize that the explanations I seek, the answers that elude me so, will not be found in this reality. And yet, continue I do."

This really makes one stop and think all we ask ourselves........Hummmmmmmmm

This looks so good, you make it look so easy the two of you.........I really have to learn to do the color thing...lol
Great write...

A fellow searcher... oh I know this feeling too well, strangely whne I look it always seems to be in the wrong place and that means missing some of life's wonders. Kit I think we should step back and take a long holiday just drift around and see where it takes us. I for one I am tired of all this intense staring. Wonderfully written piece, would make a pretty great slide.

~Sunny:  Thank you for the "spectacular" Sunny!  I'm just following Mark's lead ... he keeps starting these things, and I'm helpless to deny him a challenge for some reason! lol

~Janet Marie: ROFL ... you crack me up, I've missed you! Now with these little questions, you've sent my mind spinning ... I'll have to come join you in lock-up (place an order for a straight-jacket for me though!) Thanks JM!

~Mark: You sneaky guy ... how on earth did you happen along as I was testing it in my old thread Mark! I figured that thread had made it's round so it was safe! ROFL!  I have enjoyed each and every one of your challenges .  (glad I'm not alone in the context of these words either) ... guess this is my tribute to you ... "a Question - Mark" LOL, JM started that ... thanks Mark!

~Rebecca: Oh, this was fun ... thank you for the WOW's Rebecca ... I greatly appreciate it!

~JennE:  What a wonderful comment, thanks so much Jenn!  I'm glad you enjoyed this. The colours are pretty easy actually. If you look under the "members area" and how to use HTML, it explains it in there, have a peek, and if you have any questions, give me a shout!

~Marge:  Thanks for the "bravo" Marge ... I thought you might enjoy this one, my lady of pictures! Your presentations are always picture perfect! Much appreciation!

~Rex: LOL ... what would we do if we REALLY had all the answers Rex?  Maybe that's just about as scary as "not knowing" ... hmmm I'll have to think on that. Thanks for the autumn spray of colour ... it's coming soon for sure!

~Denise: Thank you so very much for the "fabulous" and "creative" Denise ... I love to have you stop by and enjoy, thanks!

~Vicki:  Wow, thanks for the "awesome" Vicky ... I love that you loved it!

~Melissa:  Smiling here ... THANK YOU Melissa, I really appreciate the Wows!!!

~Liz:  Is that you Liz?? What's the password!   LOL. I haven't posted much free verse on the Forums, but it comprised probably half of my earlier writings. It was nice to move back into that little groove for a change. Mark's challenges keep me busy for sure, me twin!

~RosePetals:  Thank you so much Rosepetals ... it's funny how things just pull together sometimes. I'm not even sure where this one came from, other than it's from the heart ... I continuously torture myself with questions!

~EagleOne:  Thank you very much EagleOne, I'm very grateful you enjoyed!

~Butterflies:  I soooooo loved your response Butterflies! Live and learn ... that's my motto, I'll keep tryin' till I get it right!

~Balladeer:  Thanks so much for the "punctuation perfect" and "excellent" Balladeer ... I so enjoy your responses, they mean a great deal to me! Much appreciated!

~Kethry:  LOL ... that was sweet Kethry, thank you so much for reading and enjoying!

~Marsha:  What a wonderful comment Marsha ... thank you sooooo much, very grateful I am!

~Karilea:  Now part of that's just not true Karilea, my HIGHLY talented friend! Thank you so very much for this lovely comment. I really appreciate it!

~Brian:  Ahhhh Brian, a fellow searcher indeed. Let's both take your advice ... I can get pretty tired too!  And LOL @ the slide ... loved it!

With much appreciation to all,
/Kit
