The winds came over the western ridge
Which fired the morning dreams
Of those with the light in their minds
The candles of life that keeps them
The wind pushed the sound of the swell
That had drifted over a thousand miles
To land on the western shore
Bring life to a sleepy town
The first to see had slept the night
In blank anticipation for the day
They looke out with haunting eyes
As the first rumbles of spirt made its way
Control was lost to them
While limbs began to move in time
And find their rythms in the wind
Those they had lost soon to find.

A haunting atmospheric piece, something eerie and dark yet almost hopeful, just my reading of the poem I guess. Well written poem enjoyed reading.

"an afixiation a fix on anything the line of life the limb of a tree
the hands of he and the promise that s/he is blessed among women".
Patti Smith

love the subtle desperation in this deep piece...
that word seems to come up around you a lot..
love your depth...your poetic contemplation.
