a tiny tibdit of this I must say
for Sir Knight to win fair heart today
it ne'er will be from valor or might
or tales of passioned endless nights

what wins a maiden sure and true
isn't words or deeds that center you
but be tender and kind toward all small things
a flower, a child, a butterfly's wing

a sonnet in french, a poem sweet
not strength, stamina, or smelly feet
cleave thee now to these fair words
and with your pen true romance gird!

This is sweet, and it would be great to see this challenge revived.

Missing you, Old Friend Poet Lady.

I will not bend to the cowardice of a silent judgement.
