Your Knight
~First Knight~

Let me be your Knight,
That one who holds all that you are.
Upon the breeze we will ride to that place,
That place that only you and I know.

In the meadows I walk with thoughts only of you.
I ask, "Where has my mind gone?"
You haunt me like shadows that follow the light.
My thinking is not free, nor do I want it to be.
Let me be all that I am to you,
For we have not yet become all that we are.

I come to you now in the peace that you give,
Willingly I surrender to you,
and all that you are.
I will gladly rest in your beauty,
Sit eager and await your return,
For I was made for you,
and my heart knows not another.

Forever In Your Heart

Beautiful words thy knight has spoken,
unto thy heart as loves token,
and a painting, beautiful as his words,
my heart is listening to what the heart has spoken,
But only the soul has heard,

First Knight, gentle Knight, closest to the King,
You have shown to us what makes your heart sing.
Thy passion you have shown thy love you have revealed
You have shown to all of us, the heart behind the shield

Superb Gentle Knight. . .thy picture indeed is also beautiful. . .

Hm..a man that doth surrender is just
what this maiden has in mind
but if I ride a horse to you
won't I get a little behind?

Very good sir!!

WOW I must say that you chose a lovely picture to accompany a lovely poem! Congratulations on a triumphant piece! If this doesn't have those other Knights quivering in their jodpurs I don't know what will!
