Remembering what counts...

Well what can I say, this is another poem about love
The feeling that we all need to live,
the meaning of it all
One look is enough and one touch is like an eternity
Just knowing you are mine is a blessing

So why don´t we just let go
Why don´t we take of the masks that protects us from ourselves and eachother
Why hold back in this short life
Just because we´ve been burned once
doesn´t mean we have to put out every new fire

Feeling down, missing the good parts of life
Don´t even remember the last time I felt like this
When I look in your eyes I dream away
A dream I really don´t want to wake from

So why don´t we just let go
Why don´t we forget broken hearts,
who never heals anyway
Why hold back in this short life
Just because we´ve seen the darkness
doesn´t mean we never again can see the light

Maybe we´re fooling ourselves,
believing in a new tomorrow
Maybe we live like ants in an anthill,
living the same day, every day
But who wants to know,
if knowing means killing the hope
Who wants to live in a world with all the answers painted on the door

So why don´t we just let go
Why don´t we stop thinking about answers,
when we don´t even remember the questions anymore
Why hold back in this short life
When at the very end, the moments we remember are those we didn´t

very right thoughts..heart burns can occur ..also it can  heal. But many fear to start on a relationship becaus eof the fact thta it may tirn sour or so may long for something that cannot be attained.

True sentiments expressed here, Robert...
.......

................

It is upto us to find the answers to the questions that life puts forward... we may be wrong a few times, but finally we will get them right...

btw, WELCOME TO PASSIONS, and enjoy your stay here in this family of poets...

read more, write more, we are all waiting for you to bloom...

Many regards, new flower in this passions' garden...
Sudhir

My heart is pounding, my stomach's inside out
I'm feeling kind-a-shaky, my mind is full of doubt
All I ever think about, is fearing fear itself,
Wish I could unscrew my head and put it on the shelf
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Don't know what I'm looking at, the lights are all too bright
My brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor
Sweep 'em up. Throw 'em away, don't want 'em anymore
Clouds race across the sky, day turns into night,
Still there are the questions, no answers in sight
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Starin' out the window, everything is just too bright
Brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor,
Wish I could unscrew my head, and kick it out the door...
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange

alot of questions in this poem, why indeed.
Well you have given something to ponder over. I really enjoyed this poem. Welcome to passions.
