There is love and true love
       Paths and places
Cold shoulders and smiling faces
             But,
All of which break down to the
             Core
like the rain when it pours,
     In this life,this tour
For you and your loved to
            Explore.

Hello Jeremiah,

Welcome to Passions in Poetry!
And welcome to Passions in Prose.

We appreciate you posting, but since this is a prose forum, this poem doesn't belong here. I'm gonna scootch it on over to Open Poetry #7.

Please feel free to post any prose here in the future however.

Thanks,

Christopher

Jeremiah Johnson - I saw that movie at least 10 times.... Can't resist RR... If your poetry is as good as the movie, I'll be a fan...

Gripping and tight - this poem stung tears from my eyes.  I'm so glad you got shunted over here!  I'll be watching for you!

I like the way you contrast the good and the bad in life. An existence with only the one or the other would be unbearable, would it not. my opinon (my keyboad isn't woking, can yo tell?). Yes. In my opinion we should put all those bad things down to experience, it all adds to the character, to our understaning of life.
