We have one stolen hour
a secret glance
a passing touch

how did this begin?
how does this end?
two lost and lonely hearts
longing to be touched
by a stranger?
loved too much?
two empty souls yearning for forever..

seconds
minutes
untold desires...
whispered in the night....

friendship turned intimate
so innocent.......

can't break free
you don't belong to me
or...me to you

how rare a love like this
how far do we take it?
two days too soon,
two days two long,
It feels too right....
to be so wrong......

Oh Sarah...
Belive me, I know just how you feel.
It's all very too confusing. I often wonder
why we're allowed to be put into a position like
this and "fall" when it's not right.
What a wonderful poem and so well expressed.
Welcome to the Passions Family.
Look forward to your next post.

sarahC,

A good first post, welcome to passions. An interesting subject, a chance meeting, a sudden flash of passion....how far is too far.  Well done.

Great poem Sarah   We humans are frail beasties where matters of the heart are concerned... the heart just takes control and the head goes out the window. Whatever path this leads you down, I wish you a safe journey.

We all have longings, sometimes just for a few moments of tenderness, regardless how right or wrong it may be.  sarahC, you did an excellent job expressing this in your poem. ~~nice writing~~

you express your emotions well,

take care, jm

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.

so touching , Hi Sarah, I agree with everyone else on this. I guess sometimes love is in all the wrong places but your absolutely right when you say, whether it's a second or minute. After all love is love, welcome

sarahC,

I really like this poem alot. I understand these feelings so well! The line "friendship turned intimate" that you used is similar to the first line of a poem I wrote, "Intimate Kiss", which is also about a forbidden love. But in the case of my poem, the relationship never actually took place. It is but a wishful dream of a lonley heart. It is posted on the Adult forum if you are interested.

Thanks again for you lovely poem.

Best wishes!
