        Thank You - Newsletter Team

(this is a small tribute to those who clearly worked so diligently toward Newsletter #3 ... I couldn't help but write a little thank-you limerick. Wonderful teamwork, and a great newsletter. I hope everyone here subscribes!  Thank you for a lovely read.)

My e-mail lit up with a spark,
'Twas a newsletter here to embark,
So off on a journey,
I read with a flurry,
All insights and in-depth remarks.

The first was from sweet Baladeer,
One whose stories I so like to hear,
Try to miss not a one,
For they're always such fun,
And his feedback he shares, so sincere.

Now Doreen shared a poem so true,
I remembered it well, yes I do ...
What a powerful read,
'Twas so moving indeed,
That I ran to lock all my doors too!

Now for Marge, who's sweet comments I find,
Lift my spirits, each post, all the time,
What a treasure to read
All the joys you have gleaned,
Posting all your kind thoughts and your rhymes.

Then to Michael and Krista's foray,
Such a mystery he's been till this day,
I 'oft wondered who
Was behind this pen true,
For his words tend to whisk me away.

What a treat as I read with delight,
His first poem, with such wondrous insights,
It's no wonder I find
That I read every line,
From this "Shakespeare", whose gift is to write.

Now Danny lets passions explode,
'Cross the keyboard, he writes to and fro,
With such rhythm and rhyme
To these wonderful lines,
That he set my screen softly a'glow.

For Angel, she shared inspiration,
And I read with such keen fascination,
I feel that way too,
Yes I do, yes I do,
Such a wonderful feeling ... creation!

Now search, dear sweet Christopher tried,
For more poetry sites high and wide,
I too found the same,
That there's lots in the game,
But it's Passions where you'll fill with pride.

Now poor Linda, a dear poet's wife,
Wrote of constant neglect and of strife,
Though she wrote tongue in cheek,
For she's joined him you see,
It's addictive, this poetry life!

Now Poet deVine summarized,
That to post here ... it so gratifies,
For such instant delight,
You can see other's write,
All their comments, reflections and sighs.

So thank you, for all you composed,
For the depth of your poems and prose,
For I'm not here alone,
When I call this my "home"
Such a family Ron grew ... and it shows!

Thanks for the great read!  Keep them coming!

Much appreciation,
/Kit McCallum

With this limerick you did not doodle
I can see how great you used your noodle.
As a tribute it's great
And your words are first-rate
This must be the whole Kit and kaboodle!!

Thank you, Kit, for the kind words and the effort you put into this poem just to say thanks. We are ALL thankful to be part of such a great place!
