The sun shines brightly outside
Its rays reflect off the incoming tide
The water washes over the sand
My mind wanders to a distant land
I am transported back to another place
There I can almost see his face

The knight was courageous and noble too
He rode through the forest from out of the blue
Looking invincible on his trusty steed
The maiden was sure he could fulfill her needs
She sat there at the edge of the beach
He rode up and stopped within arms reach

Good afternoon my lady he said to the maiden fair
One look in his deep blue eyes turned into a stare
She would gladly bare her soul to this man
For her he'll do all he possibly can
The couple sat and talked for many hours
Out on the beach near the beautiful flowers

He asked her to dinner that evening
Although it was happening she had a hard time believing
She went to his castle for a fabulous meal
He told her that his feelings were real
In a month they would be man and wife
For all time they would share a life

What a wonderful fairy tale.   I loved it.

Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau"
