Lie beside the Lie I took what dreams may come And you, what you needn’t see My heart allowed a window And you, let yours run free Each night we reveal Our innermost desires A promise of a future But all of you, is what I require A question of truth In a bizarre situation Whose right, the heart or the head With the body giving into temptation So tell me, what I need know How can there be a “We”? And do you lie beside the lie Or does she? Marina June 2000 |

Marina, Wonderful expression here. So many questions you have....I hope the answers are revealed to you. Funny that at times you think you know someone, only to find out later that they misrepresented themselves. Truly the lowest of the low. I am sure your questions will be answered. Great writing. If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home There's an awful lot of breathing room But I can hardly move If you're gone - baby you need to come home cuz there's a little bit of something me... I found myself in amazement at this.....It is really good. Love the line.. And do you lie beside the lie Or does she? Excellent It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. |
