(This is the only poem that I had published, [in a Philadelphia newspaper in July 1990]. How exciting that was! It was a little free avante guarde paper on south street in Philly).

~~Rose of Life~~

I am unfolding gently beneath
Your loving touch

Becoming

I let wholeness breath my
petals free

Awareness

Sweet fragrant Spirit touching
senses into life

Wisdom

Giving beauty back to the universe

Knowing

Each petal, sweet miracle of life

Oneness

We are hues of color, yet one
in Spirits blossom

Ellie Congrats on the publishing! I love the analogy with the rose. For those are probably my most favorite of flowers!
Beautiful Ellie!

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.
