Water trickles down from the sky,
adding to the streams already there.
No sunshine will be seen today,
from the heavens so far away.

The sky clouds up,
it grows dark, bleak, and sad.
Raindrops fall, now more steady.
as a veil from the heavens to the earth.

A sudden light flashes across the sky,
the thunder soon to follow.
But the blowing of the wind, now more stead,
Blows this all away.

Dawn,

I can see myself sitting there beside you watching the wonder of the storm.  Beautiful writing, my friend.
