GRANDPA GENE, MY GUARDIAN ANGEL
Another year gone by
Oh how the time flies
I don't know why I feel this way
I don't even know what to say
Another year, another day
Yet your always here some way
You are a man who is missed
I think you get my jist
When i sit and write about you
The words just flow so right and true
I feel empty sometimes cause you're not here
Although I feel your presence very near
You gave me a sign to stay with Paul
And now together we stand so tall
I hope I have the strength and the courage when I move
And I hope I go to Job Corps and make it through
Lately I feel like I'm trapped in the jaws of a Bangel
But I know Grandpa Gene, you're my Guardian Angel
