Satisfaction/Satiated
(all my life)
I have waited.
(at-one-ment)
hunger, yet abated.
Chains. Restrained,
freedom burning...
Compensation,
(soul-starvation)
contentment
just a charcoal churning...

A Duel---my head,
my heart, depart...
Observance---
Saw, I heard,
the spark--
Payment now
for pleasure spent
(if Love is sin, no
recompense....)
There can be no restitution,
blossom falls in spent fruition--
spoiled seed of absolution.

Oh Satiate,
sufficiently,
colored by
reality---

Now whisper to me, sweetly, please:
Tell me, "What is yours?"

wow, Serenity that poem was pure satisfaction.

A Duel---my head,
my heart, depart...
Observance---
Saw, I heard,
the spark--
Payment now
for pleasure spent
(if Love is sin, no
recompense....)
There can be no restitution,
blossom falls in spent fruition--
spoiled seed of absolution.

Oh Satiate,
sufficiently,
colored by
reality---

Tell me, "What is yours?"

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.

Oh my, I'm so glad this is not a contest, for you would indeed be one of the top contestants...well done, well done!
