In the space between moments

0 posted 2000-06-04 12:53 PM

The moon flies among silvered rains
And weeps with wisdom's grace
Among haunting breaths of melody
One can see forever's face.

Dewy thoughts adorn the sky
And cling to eyes of gold
Upon her lips of crystal dreams
Are truths of life once told.

Angel wings now sprayed with soot
Still shine with dignity
Among the leaves her voice is heard
Lingering upon the breeze.

Shadowy visions draped in light
Dance within her soul
And with a whisper of her heart
Cherished words are known.

"In a moment lies eternity
And in a kiss resides forever
Dawn will emerge within your life
If love is held together."

'Neath the silvered rains she soars
The angel known as destiny
Giving grace to those in need
And allowing us to truly see.

*Moment of awestruck wonder and then wild cheering*  LOL, I loved this one!  I don't even know what to say... I absolutely adored lines like, "Upon her lips of crystal dreams," "Dewy thoughts adorn the sky," "Among haunting breaths of melody," and "The moon flies among silvered rains."

And of course some of the greatest lines I've ever read...

"In a moment lies eternity
And in a kiss resides forever
Dawn will emerge within your life
If love is held together."

my my my...
you are the princess of pefect rhyme and meter...
and the queen of imagery...
and your vocabulary is astonishing...

Im not worthy
this is exquisite K, truly.
you have such a gift.
take care, jm

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.

These words are as lucid and elegant as a midsummers night dream

Angel wings now sprayed with soot
Still shine with dignity
Among the leaves her voice is heard
Lingering upon the breeze.

Shadowy visions draped in light
Dance within her soul
And with a whisper of her heart
Cherished words are known.

wonderful.

"Upon her lips of crystal dreams..."  WOW!   Girl, you sure know how to paint a shimmering image of magic in the reader's mind!  Exquisitely lovely!  This is so beautiful, it *tinkles* when you read it, like windchimes!  WOW again!
