Coming Home
~*Marge Tindal*~

May new roads rise to meet you
Old friends gently greet you
May your troubles float
so swiftly down the stream

May new love soon surround you
and blessings quite astound you
as you reach the bend in the road
that brings you home

May tender arms enfold you
New love so gently hold you
as you ease into the comfort
of finally coming home

May you settle into knowing
no more will you be going
across the wrinkled roadmap
that took you far away

May familiar faces smiling
ease your heart gently into wiling
the pleasured hours away
now that you're finally home

Marge, every poem by you just amazes me, you must live, breath and sleep poetry to be so talented.  I only wish that I was half as gifted as you are.  This is a beautifully serene and uplifting poem. I had to re-read it twice, it was that good.  I love it!

DarkAngel~
I am so pleased to know it conveyed comfort.
That's what I felt as it came to me.  Thank you.

Melissa~
Thank you for such kind remarks.
I only know how to 'listen' to the muses
who speak to my heart.

Cerenity, my friend~
This one came to me from the 'musing tree' where I took my lunch break yesterday at work.
I swear I've never seen such magic that flows from her branches and drops to my heart.  I actually scrawled it on an envelope as I sang it then tucked it in my purse for posting later.
Thank you for enjoying it.

Tracie~
Honey, I thank you.
This part-Irish lassie hopes that it
is a universal blessing as well.

Eloise~
Thank you.  Nice to see your smiling face.

This does have a very comforting feel to it, much like the 'Cherished Irish Blessing' hanging in my kitchen that my Dad made for me when he first got his computer. That is what this reminded me of as I read it!

I appreciate your thoughts.
Thank you.

Denise~
I'm glad you found comfort and Irish familiarity in it.
Makes me feel that perhaps it is an Irish blessing from the musing tree.
Love ya'

Simply beautiful poem, Marge!! That 'musing tree' sounds quite wonderful to me! Your heart is so open to beauty...it flows in and out of you like the tide that flows onto the beach and off again. Love you Marge!

Love and hugs,
Lizzie

This is beautiful Marge .. I pictured many a weary face, tired of long travels, lighting up as they got closer and closer to "home" ... wonderful visuals it stirred in my mind.  Lovely Marge!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Lil' Lizzie~
Hello, hon.  The 'musing tree' is a 60 (+/-)
year old fir tree that lends her shade for many of my lunch breaks at work.
She never fails to sing to me ... I just listen and pen it.
Glad you enjoyed.

Kit~
Thank you.  There is something magical about the feeling of 'home' that draws us ever there, bringing joy when we reach her door.
Glad you liked.

Thanks so much.  To be aware of how many
have found it calming is to validate the
very reason it was brought to me.
I so appreciate your comments.
