they hovered
  wishes hushed
     flown by recollection
        in guardless times

dulled perhaps
  fear-borne inside
     by splintered
        calls of mercy

for the heart
  to cusp with yours
     no more

yet still the night
  lacking place
     of unslept dreams
        imaged clear your mind

I crept to hide
  silence memory’s cry
     ‘this life is but
        a shadow a glyph
           of another’s bind’

entrapped I fleet
  safe-rivened
    move on without
       a travelled wing

into a cycle
  assignation of mystery
    a clue in the darkness
       for eyes restless

of eyes a-fight for rest

     your search is mine

Kamla, this is truly a beautiful piece.

I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow

Indeed, full circle, for ever the balance there must be. When two become one, yes... balance. Eyes to rest means not the mind however! Beautiful Indeed K. And still, a sense of melancholy... though hope too.. too smart for this boy!

Dear Kamla, I realize that there are parts of it that only one person would be able to understand and I'm not him but, from the rest that I do understand, this is really a work of art. Such a tapestry you can weave.......

When I read this, I had the feeling I was walking across and arid, alien land searching for something..odd!  I really loved this poem! Kamla, you amaze me!

Kamla--you seem to write the emotion down without using words...how can that be?
