I see the worth in all that you deny,
but I can not give my knowledge to you
if you are not willing to take it
and apply it to the wildness
that will surround you...one day.
Time is not a token that we can cash in...
it is a here-then-gone thing
and you are not for the here and now,
but rather look more at what is behind you
and at what you donít have.
I sense a shallowness in you that canít be deepened
by the nagging and prodding that I might apply,
you would simply turn away and deny
that my words had any meaning
or that you had even heard them at all.
So when next you pass by me, look away
for I will not acknowledge that which is vague
(until it divines which way the wind's blowing),
nor will I pretend that I have not noticed you
standing still as the world passes you by.
