Sitting-
  Under the silver moon
    Wondering if you’re alright
Listening-
  Here in silence
Alone in the still of the night

Worrying-
  Like a friend would do
    Caring in every way
Waiting-
  For you to tell me
    Tell me everything’s Okay

Silently-
  I look for you
But you I do not see
Wondering-
  Is it possible
    Have you forgotten me?

Patiently-
  I sit waiting
    As time passes by
Emotions-
  Running wild
And I ask my self, Why?

Why-
  Must I sit here
    And worry like I do
Despair-
  I could go with out
But I care too much for you

Sitting-
  I wait patiently
    Drowning with concern
Wishing-
  Upon the stars
    For you to soon return

I know what it is like to miss a loved one, one of of closest friends moved to Australia abd not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

really enjoyed yor poem, well written.

Why-
Must I sit here
  And worry like I do
Despair-
I could go with out
But I care too much for you

Sitting-
I wait patiently
  Drowning with concern
Wishing-
Upon the stars
  For you to soon return

Irie,

Hope that you hear from your loved one soon.  It is hard to sit there wondering if they are okay and why they have not called at least.  Best wishes to you...hope it all works out.

It is one of the hardest things in the world, sitting around waiting and wondering. You've expressed that well, Irie!

Brian, LW, Denise,
I too hope that I hear something soon. Very soon!
I don't like to be left hanging, it's no fun!

Thank you for your replies!

Irie,
