Among mighty trees, my spirit flies free
Unbounded to life’s irrational rules
Wandering the forest of fantasy
Enchanted by magic only for fools

Unbounded to life’s irrational rules
I spread my wings on winds of make believe
Enchanted by magic only for fools
Riding the Unicorn from morn till eve

I spread my wings on winds of make believe
Seeing the world through the eyes of a child
Riding the Unicorn from morn till eve
Feeling life’s wisdom is driving me wild

Seeing the world through the eyes of a child
Finding truth with the golden eyed dragon
Feeling life’s wisdom is driving me wild
Revived is the mystic of Avalon

Finding wisdom with the golden eyed dragon
The secrets of life no longer concealed
Revived is the mystic of Avalon
The true art of living once more revealed

The secrets of life no longer concealed
Wandering the forest of fantasy
The true art of living once more revealed
Among mighty trees my spirit flies free

Well, I enjoyed this. I cannot comment on the type of poem it is because I have no knowledge of it.   The subject and content were wonderful though.   Forgive my stupidity.

Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau"

WOW a wonderful poem, what an imagination you have. I love the images especially

I spread my wings on winds of make believe
Seeing the world through the eyes of a child
Riding the Unicorn from morn till eve
Feeling life’s wisdom is driving me wild

Seeing the world through the eyes of a child
Finding truth with the golden eyed dragon
Feeling life’s wisdom is driving me wild
Revived is the mystic of Avalon

great poem.

Munda~
So beautifully done.
These are not easy to accomplish,
but you've made it flow so seemingly effortless.
Wonderful.
