Across the sifting sands of gold I look,
I open my heart as I open a book
finding the love inside gone
a dull glow, where once it shone.

My steed is chrome and black,
my armour battered by love,
weapons drawn in anger now sheathed
destruction of two hearts complete.
We never ran, we could never hide
this pitch battle was fought from inside.

I need love, I kidd myself i'm strong
for a womans love is what I long
Someone to share my kalidascope life
a love to cherish during the night.

-Rich-

)

-then there was nothing, but in my hour of darkness a chink of light shone ....offering hope and love....that light is you.

And this I say to you: why? Why? Just tell me why, so I can understand. Why?

Oh Rich, this is sad.

We do get battered, don't we!

The great thing about love is that we crave

it , desire it, need it and it always helps

us heal our hearts.

Keep looking hon, she will find you!

Great writing!

i believe love can heal our voids. A powerful poem, great stuff.

I need love, I kidd myself i'm strong
for a womans love is what I long
Someone to share my kalidascope life
a love to cherish during the night.
