Fortuned smiled on me back in November 1999,
I met a wonderful man right here in Passions,
A man who has changed my destiny,
A man who's friendship helps set my spirit free.

It's only been eight months,
But in that time alone,
We have shared our lives and histories,
Two similar souls - the kindred zone.

Never before have I been so understood,
And never again will I know such a friendship,
It's much more than best friends,
It is a soul's kinship.

Always a shoulder for support,
Always an encouraging word,
A meeting of the minds,
Some would call absurd.

Intelligent, loyal and loving,
Hell I couldn't ask for more,
So this is my thankyou to him,
For never wanting to shut the door.

Thankyou hon for being there,
A similar soul only a heartbeat away,
And with every foundation stone laid,
You're a little less further away.

My kindred, there will always be a place for you in this heart........................

I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn.....

Isis - the world isn't so heavy when there's two sets of shoulders to carry it - I'm so happy for you that you've found the other half of your soul.  This is a lovely poem.

I must admit to being a sceptic when it comes to this sort of thing, but more power to you.  You put it all so well.  Great tribute!

A wonderful tribute to what is obviously a wonderful friendship. May your friendship continue to blossom.
