*Written at 8 years of age*

There you are with your carving knives...

Whittle

      Whittle

             Whittle.

Here I am cut down to size...

                  Little

         Little

Little.

Very interesting...

What did you write the poem about?  Is it symbolic?

Sorry   ...The poem has to do with the feelings of a little girl who was raised in a family where the parents only liked boys.

I have four brothers/one sister!
Girls didn't mean anything...
they were a small speck in the universe.

I managed to find lots of role models who loved girls and boys both.

Oh, that's so sad coming from an 8 year old precious heart ... I'm glad you gave a little explanation and were able to find some good role models to help you turn that feeling around.

Challenge well met Magnolia Blue ... you might be the youngest post to the challenge I've seen yet at 8 years, and very creative! Well done.

Best wishes,
/Kit
